We
have been successfully offering Executive Master Programmes, tailored
to meet the specific needs of executives, since 1992:
The MBA in General Management has been run since September 1992.
In 1995 we started with the Master of Business Communication
(MBC).
The MBA in Human Capital Management (MBA-HCM) has been held since
2003.
In these programmes the tuition language is German.
In September 2007 we started the EMBA in Compliance
and Corporate Governance,
which takes place in Beijing and Constance in co-operation with Ingolstadt
University of Applied Sciences and the BIT Beijing Institute of Technology.
The tuition language of the EMBA is English.
All these programmes enhance the deepening and extension of specialist,
social and communicative management skills, preparing graduates comprehensively,
specifically and practically for entrepreneurial tasks and managerial
functions, particularly in companies that operate internationally. Besides
improving their ability to analyse and structure complex interrelationships
in companies, a deeper insight into the global interdependence of entrepreneurship
is conveyed and students are encouraged to tap into their own slumbering
or untrained potentials. The objective is for graduates to organise their
own professional and private everyday lives more consciously and successfully – going
much further beyond purely specialist skills. This means becoming acquainted
with new thought patterns and scientific subject matter, methods and
instruments, developing sustainable prospects in collaboration with others,
further enhancing one’s communication, decision-making and problem-solving
skills and conceiving change as an opportunity for individual enhancement
and for the development of the organisation.
Our post-graduate Master-Programmes can look back on a very successful
development:
in 1999, the German Training Award was conferred upon the Master
of Business Communication (MBC).
In 2004 Constance University of Applied Sciences was conferred
by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft the award for
the best German higher education institution for continuing education,
ahead of all universities. This is the highest award that has ever been
conferred in Europe for the area of scientific continuing education.
Nowadays, Constance University of Applied Sciences, with its two
companies for continuing education – LCBS and TAK - is the leading
higher education institution in this field in Germany – a remarkable
development after just fifteen years of groundwork. |
